Peripheral-Central Interactions in the Auditory and Vestibular System
The conference encompasses synaptic transmission, ion channel electrophysiology, neural circuitry, cell biology, molecular genetics and computational neuroscience. Understanding peripheral-central interactions is necessary for the design of cochlear and vestibular implants.
Confirmed Keynote Speakers:
Catherine Weisz, Acting Chief, Section on Neuronal Circuitry, NIH National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders
Daniel Polley, Acting Director of Eaton-Peabody Laboratory, Harvard University
Meeting Highlights:
Conference will include opportunity for posters from submitted abstracts as well as a discussion on diversity, equity, and inclusion in auditory and vestibular research.
